Packaging food is a great way to show you care.  Kids Against Hunger makes it easy and fun.  Simply follow the steps below:

Step 1: Decide on dates and times that will work for you, see how many people you can get together. (Nights and weekends we like to have at least 10 for a group unless we already have a group that time, then you can join in!) How long would you like to pack? (The average is 2 hours) Are you able to bring STRONG help, to help lift the 50lb bags? Make sure you pick a few dates before you call or e-mail, just in case those dates are not available (Check out the calendar!) 

Step 2: Fund raise! Every person will pack at least 100 meals per hour, and as many as 300 meals, per person per hour. The fully funded meal is only 25 cents, but when you package 100 meals per hour, that means each person will at least package $25 worth per hour. If a person packs 300 meals per hour, then that's $75 per person per hour! This includes all that we need to get the meals to the children. So the range to raise for each person would be as little as $20- $30, and as much as $100 each! There are many ways to raise these funds, everything from a bake sale to asking 10 friends for $10! We want each group to do the best they can to fund the meals they pack so please help as much as you can! Because of the incredible response that we have had for Haiti Relief, we do ask each person, or their group, to try and average $91.25 per person which will feed a Haitian for a year, and if they can't raise that much to do the best they can and we'll pack whatever is raised for that individual or the overall total for the group.
